1 Critically Injured in Los Angeles Motorcycle Crash on 101 Freeway at Laurel Canyon
Los Angeles, California (July 30, 2020) – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a traffic crash involving a semi-truck on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, police said.
The major injury crash occurred on the eastbound 101 freeway at Laurel Canyon, just before the interchange of the 101 South and 134 East freeways.
According to the authorities, a semi-truck collided with a motorcycle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the collision, the rider was reportedly ejected on to the roadway. The motorcycle also erupted into flames.
First responders arrived at the scene and contained the fire.

The rider sustained a broken leg and other critical injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
