Los Angeles, CA: Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway
1 Killed, 1 Injured in Los Angeles Crash on 5 Freeway near 710 Freeway
Los Angeles, California (March 28, 2021) – One person was killed in a Sunday morning multi-vehicle accident that left one other person injured in East Los Angeles, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:25 a.m. on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Long Beach (710) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at least four vehicles collided on the northbound freeway in unclear circumstances. One of the cars, a sedan, struck the center divider.

Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
At least one person was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
