Major Injuries Sustained in Los Angeles Crash at Avalon Boulevard and El Segundo Boulevard

Los Angeles, California (March 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating after multiple vehicles collided Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles, resulting in major injuries.
The Los Angeles County firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of S Avalon Boulevard and E El Segundo Boulevard, where the accident happened.
The incident was reported at around 5:12 p.m. involving five vehicles.
As per the report, the pileup resulted in major injuries. The number of patients was, however, not mentioned. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims.
The crash forced the closure of the northbound lanes of Avalon, just south of El Segundo.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
