Minor Injuries Sustained in Los Angeles Big Rig Crash on 405 Freeway near 105 Freeway

Los Angeles, California (January 14, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multivehicle crash involving a big rig that took place Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles.
CHP said a big rig, a white Toyota, and a gray Honda collided just before 1:00 p.m. on southbound 405 Freeway, just north of 105 Freeway.
The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes after the crash. A SigAlert was issued, blocking the lanes for approximately an hour and a half as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash left an unknown number of parties with minor injuries. An ambulance responded to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims.
All vehicles were towed away from the collision scene. Both the Toyota and the Honda acquired major rear-end damage in the crash.
