Adolfo Heredia Killed in Oxnard Bicycle Accident on South Oxnard Boulevard
Adolfo Heredia ID’d as Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Vehicle at South Oxnard Boulevard and Wooley Road in Oxnard

Oxnard, California (January 14, 2021) – The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the bicyclist who was hit and killed by a semi-truck on Saturday afternoon in Oxnard as Adolfo Ambriz Heredia, 75, of Oxnard.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:43 p.m., on January 9, at the intersection of South Oxnard Boulevard and Wooley Road.
Authorities said a 2019 Peterbuilt semi hauling a 53-foot trailer was turning from northbound Oxnard Boulevard onto Wooley Road when, for unknown reasons, it struck Heredia.
Heredia was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 21-year-old Fresno man, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the collision.
The intersection was blocked for several hours due to the accident.
