Los Angeles, CA: 1 Seriously Injured in Single-Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Santa Fe Avenue
1 Sustains Major Injuries in Los Angeles Car Collision on 10 Freeway near Santa Fe Avenue
Los Angeles, California (April 26, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a solo-car collision that took place early Monday morning in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident happened at around 4:24 a.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway, near Santa Fe Avenue.
As per the CHP, for unknown reasons, a car crashed and possibly caught fire.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
The driver sustained major injuries, and an ambulance was requested to the scene to transport them to the hospital.
The collision left the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway blocked for about an hour.
CHP officers are collecting more information to establish the cause of the accident.
