Los Alamos, California (May 31, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a collision with a vehicle in Los Alamos, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deadly crash occurred at about 3:50 p.m. near the intersection of Bell Street and Cat Canyon Road.

A car was traveling southbound on Bell Street after exiting Highway 101 when the driver attempted to flip around at a turnout on the road, the CHP said. In progress, the car was hit on the driver’s side door by the motorcyclist.

Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Los Alamos

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was declared deceased at the scene.

Two people in the car were not injured.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
