Long Beach, California (June 21, 2021) – Injuries were reported after multiple vehicles crashed Monday morning in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.

Officials responded to the crash site at approximately 7:43 a.m., on June 21, on the Interstate 405 Freeway near Studebaker Road.

As per the report, a red Toyota Corolla, a black truck, a white sedan, a white Toyota Corolla, a black Toyota Camry, and a white Honda Civic possibly crashed on the highway for undetermined reasons.

Following the collision, at least ten vehicles blocked the HOV, Nos. 1 and 2, as well as the 4 and 5 lanes of the southbound motorway.

Long Beach Multi-Vehicle Crash

The crash resulted in injuries that were not considered major.

Officials requested tow trucks to remove the wrecked automobiles away from the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
