Lissete Salazar Arrested after Corona Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Dos Lagos Drive
Corona, California (May 27, 2019) – A driver was arrested following a deadly two-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Corona, according to the CHP.
The fatal collision occurred just before 4:15 a.m. May 26, on 15 Freeway south of Dos Lagos Drive.
CHP said Lissete Salazar, 21, of Lake Elsinore was driving a 2006 BMW 630i southbound on the 15 Freeway at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a 2018 Toyota Tacoma.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lissete Salazar Arrested For DUI After Fatal Corona Crash
Salazar was arrested on charges including felony DUI. He complained of pain and was treated by the paramedics.
The crash remained under investigation.
