George Mouratidis Dies in Corona Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Dos Lagos Drive

Corona, California (May 27, 2019) – A man was killed in a deadly two-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Corona, according to the CHP.
The incident took place just before 4:15 a.m. May 26, on 15 Freeway south of Dos Lagos Drive.
CHP said George Mouratidis, 56, of Lake Elsinore, was driving a 2018 Toyota Tacoma on southbound 15 Freeway when he was rear-ended by a 2006 BMW 630i that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Mouratidis was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the BMW was arrested on charges including felony DUI.
The crash remained under investigation.
