Lincoln Heights, California (January 2, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night in Lincoln Heights, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 11:10 p.m. Friday, January 1, on the Golden State (5) Freeway, just south of the Arroyo Seco Parkway (110), the California Highway Patrol reported.
As per the report, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in the northbound lane of the Golden State Freeway for unknown reasons.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene at around 11:35 p.m. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
A SigAlert was issued at 11:34 p.m. for the closure of Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of the northbound Golden State Freeway. As of 3:19 a.m., the SigAlert was canceled, and all lanes were reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
