Modesto, California (February 18, 2020) – Authorities have arrested Larry Lindsey in connection with a Saturday evening fatal pedestrian accident that happened at an intersection in Modesto, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash happened a while before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, at the intersection of Coffee Road and Ensenada Drive.
As per the report, Lindsey, a Riverbank resident, was driving a 2015 Nissan Sentra south on Coffee Road. As Lindsey entered the junction, he hit a pedestrian later identified as 36-year-old Psyoth Sao. Sao was reportedly walking outside of a crosswalk at the time.

Responding emergency crews declared Sao dead at the scene.
Officials later confirmed that Lindsey was driving under the influence of narcotics at the time of the collision. Lindsey was later arrested after the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
