Lancaster, California (May 30, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday night in the area of Lancaster, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 9:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Highway 138 and 130th Street.

As per the CHP officials, a big rig and another vehicle crashed for reasons still under investigation. The semi-truck caught fire following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The name of the patients and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
