1 Injured in Lakehead Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Gibson Road
Lakehead, California (January 2, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a solo car crash that happened near Lakehead in Shasta County on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Gibson Road at about 10 a.m. December 1.
The authorities said a Nissan Sentra was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into the center divider for unknown reasons.
As per the CHP report, one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
