2 Suffers Serious Injuries in Burbank Accident on Northbound 5 Freeway near Burbank Boulevard
Burbank, California (January 2, 2021) – Two victims were hospitalized with serious injuries following an alleged DUI collision on an interstate in Burbank Thursday night.
The major injury crash was reported along the 5 Freeway just south of the Burbank Boulevard off-ramp shortly after 8:30 p.m.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, two sedans crashed with a big rig in the northbound lanes of the freeway for reasons still under investigation.

Two unidentified patients were hospitalized at Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment of major injuries sustained in the mishap.
Officials said two victims were intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The wreck resulted in the closure of all lanes for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
