Lake Elsinore, CA: Major-Injury DUI Crash at Riverside Drive and Gunnerson Street
3 Injured in Lake Elsinore Car Accident at Riverside Drive and Gunnerson Street; Ramon Hernandez-Delgado Arrested
Lake Elsinore, California (July 19, 2020) – Three people were injured in an alleged DUI crash at an intersection in Lake Elsinore Sunday evening, authorities said.
The major injury collision happened at about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Gunnerson Street.
According to the authorities, a silver Dodge Ram collided head-on with a white Toyota Tundra at the Lake Elsinore intersection.
Lake Elsinore Car Accident at Riverside Drive and Gunnerson Street Sends 3 to Hospital
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and extricated one party who was trapped in the wreckage. A total of three patients were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the Tundra, identified as Ramon Hernandez-Delgado (59) of Lake Elsinore, was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries before being booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
