1 Dies, 1 Injured in Lake Elsinore Car Accident at Highway 74 and Riverside Street
Lake Elsinore, California (July 11, 2020) – One person was killed and one other injured in a three-car accident on Saturday morning in Lake Elsinore, authorities said.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:47 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 74 and Riverside Street.
Three vehicles collided at the intersection. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established, the police said.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
One other victim was injured in the crash.
Following the accident, Highway 74 between Hammock Avenue and Trellis Lane was closed for an unknown period.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
