1 Hurt in Lafayette Car Crash on Highway 24 near Acalanes Road
Lafayette, California (December 14, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a car crash in Lafayette, Contra Costa, on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9:40 p.m. December 11, on Highway 24 near Acalanes Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, one vehicle reportedly overturned and caught fire.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
