La Mesa, California (June 16, 2021) – A La Mesa accident involving multiple vehicles Tuesday afternoon injured at least one person.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the hit-and-run crash site just about 5:00 p.m., June 15, on Interstate 8 near Highway 125.
The accident involved a Nissan Armada and two other vehicles that crashed on the westbound side of the freeway for undetermined reasons.
La Mesa Multi-Vehicle Accident
As per the CHP report, the crash left one unidentified person with unknown injuries.
One of the involved motorists escaped the crash site without rendering aid to the victim.
An investigation into the hit-and-run crash is underway.
