Kingsburg, California (August 30, 2020) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after a two-car crash that happened Sunday afternoon on southbound Highway 99 in Kingsburg, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Officers received reports of the car crash at about 3:33 p.m. just south of Merritt Drive.

First responders found one person with serious injuries. The victim was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment.

At the time of the report, authorities had not yet established the cause and manner of the accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
