Kevin Payne ID’d as Man Killed in Emeryville Accident at Emery Street and West MacArthur Boulevard
Emeryville, California (July 20, 2021) – The man who was killed in a car accident Friday night in the Emeryville area has been identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office as Kevin Payne, 33, of Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened at about 10:05 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Emery Street and West MacArthur Boulevard.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the incident and extricated parties who were trapped in the wreckage.
Kevin Payne Killed in Emeryville Crash
Payne was one of the drivers and was killed in the crash.
Two other people sustained undisclosed injuries.
The crash caused a closure of several off-ramps from Interstate 580.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
