Kerman, CA: CHP Investigating Major Injury Crash at Butte and American Avenues
Kerman Car Accident on Butte and American Avenues Thursday Morning
Kerman, California (February 6, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided Thursday morning at an intersection in Kerman, resulting in major injuries.
The crash occurred at about 6:46 a.m. at South Butte and West American avenues.
A red Volkswagen Jetta and a brown Chevrolet Tahoe were involved in the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated at least one person who was trapped inside their vehicle.
Paramedics said major injuries were sustained in the crash. At least one person was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
