Jonathan Villalpando Injured in Fatal 605 Freeway Crash in Norwalk

Norwalk, California (February 6, 2020) – 28-year-old Jonathan J. Villalpando of Fontana was injured in a fatal traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Norwalk, according to a local news source.
The fatal collision occurred at about 3:45 a.m. February 5, on the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, just south of Rosecrans Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, 24-year-old Alyssa Alexus Contreras of La Puente was operating a Toyota Corolla traveling south on the freeway when she crashed into the concrete center divider for unknown reasons.
The Toyota stopped in the traffic lanes and was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Honda Accord.
The Toyota overturned and was finally hit by a Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Jonathan Villalpando Injured in Fatal 605 Freeway Crash
Villalpando was the driver of the Dodge and was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Contreras was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the collision.
The driver of the Honda, Jose O. Estrada, 42, of Pico Rivera, was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
