Ken Heffner ID’d as 71-Year-old Man Hospitalized after Fresno Big Rig Accident on Highway 99
Fresno, California (January 10, 2021) – Ken Heffner, 71, has been identified as the man who was injured in a Wednesday afternoon big rig accident in Fresno.
The accident occurred on January 6, on Highway 99.
According to the officials, a semi-truck and trailer, driven by Heffner, flipped over onto its side blocking all lanes for undetermined reasons.
The truck reportedly slid along the highway’s edge, and the front windshield broke, allowing dirt to fill the cab trapping Heffner.
Fortunately, an off-duty police officer who was on his way home and other civilians freed the trapped driver.
Ken Heffner Injured in Fresno Big Rig Accident
Heffner was taken to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
