San Pablo, California (October 6, 2020) – Kelly Lynch, 64, of Pinole, has been identified as the suspect who was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run crash on Monday morning in San Pablo, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 5:16 a.m., at the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and 23rd Street.
According to the police, Celia Demolina, 88, of San Pablo, was walking in the area when a vehicle, driven by Lynch, struck her.

Sadly, Demolina was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lynch fled the scene and was later arrested at his residence in the 1200 block of Belfair Drive on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
Lynch was booked into Martinez Detention Facility on Tuesday morning in lieu of $3,500 bail.
The crash remains under investigation.
