Reseda, California (May 25, 2021) – The man who was killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles in Reseda on Sunday night has been identified as Kelley Reid Spencer, 28, of Woodland Hills, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

The wreck occurred at around 8:06 p.m. May 23, at 7636 N. Corbin Avenue.

According to CHP, Spencer was driving a black BMW M3 north on Corbin Avenue at a high rate of speed when he rear-ended a black 2013 Kia Optima making a right turn onto northbound Corbin Avenue from Saticoy Street.

The BMW was traveling along a black 2015 Mini Cooper convertible that was also being driven at a high rate of speed.

The Kia was pushed into the path of oncoming traffic, where it collided with a southbound gray 2016 Volkswagen Golf sedan.

Spencer also lost control and collided with an oncoming blue 2008 Chevy Silverado.

The Chevy was then pushed into vehicles parked in the area.

CHP said Spencer died in the accident.

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to CHP, street racing is suspected to have played a role in the accident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
