Windsor, California (January 14, 2019) – A woman from Forestville suffered major injuries in a suspected DUI wrong-way crash in the North Bay area of Santa Rosa early Sunday morning.

According to the CHP, the accident occurred at about 12:55 a.m. January 13 on Highway 101 near Arata Lane.

As per the report, a Ford Focus driven by 37-year-old Omar Cisnero-Ramirez, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the roadway when it collided with a GMC Sierra and a VW Beetle.

The driver of the VW Beetle, Katherine Pisesky, 50, of Forestville, sustained major injuries and was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the GMC and his two passengers were taken to Sutter Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Cisnero-Ramirez was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI, causing injury, reckless driving and violation of parole.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
