Jurupa Valley, California (December 6, 2020) – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday night at an intersection in Jurupa Valley, according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The accident happened at around 7:35 p.m. Friday, December 4, at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Glen Street.

As per the report, the pedestrian, only identified as a white male adult, was hit by a silver 2006 Toyota Tundra at the intersection for unknown reasons.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian unconscious in the roadway. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The operator of the Toyota Tundra stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Investigators said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.

Police closed Mission Boulevard and Glen Street as they investigated the scene.
