Long Beach, California (September 30, 2019) – 61-year-old Judi Yourman has been identified as the female party who was killed in a traffic collision in the area of Long Beach on Sunday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The fatal collision, which happened at around 1:05 p.m. September 29, occurred on the 405 Freeway south of the Wardlow Road exit.

The CHP said that a Dodge Ram loose tire on the southbound side of the Freeway that crossed over the center divider and collided with BMW driven by Yourman in northbound lanes.

Yourman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck used the Jaws of Life to free a male passenger from the wrecked BMW. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The name of the wounded party remains unknown to this time.

The crash resulted in the closure of all lanes of the Freeway up to around 7:00 p.m.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
