Joshua Cherry ID’d as Man Killed in Rosamond Auto-Pedestrian Accident on Highway 14 near Rosamond Boulevard
Rosamond, California (January 10, 2019) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday evening in Rosamond.
Joshua Dean Cherry, 31, of Rosamond died in the accident that took place at about 6:15 p.m. January 7, on the southbound lanes of Highway 14, just north of Rosamond Boulevard.
The report said Cherry was struck by a Nissan Armada for unknown reasons.
The victim sustained fatal injuries and died in the crash.
The car was towed away for evidence.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
