Motorcyclist Injured, Jose Venancio Arrested after Napa Crash on Lincoln Avenue and Yajome Street
Napa, California (July 1, 2021) – One person was injured in a Napa hit-and-run accident involving a motorcyclist on Tuesday evening, according to Napa police.
The collision happened at Lincoln Avenue and Yajome Street at around 6:30 p.m. June 29.
Police said a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist in the area.
The motorcycle rider was transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with hand injuries and road rash.
Jose Venancio Arrested after Napa Motorcycle Crash
The driver fled from the scene but was later located and detained on Central Avenue. He was identified as Jose Guadalupe Venancio, 35, of Napa.
Police said Venancio was taken to Queen and later booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of DUI causing injury and hit-and-run. He is also expected to face additional charges due to previous arrests.
