Jordan Suggs Among 2 Hospitalized after Red Bluff Car Crash on Highway 36 E near Tuscan Avenue

Red Bluff, California (December 9, 2020) – Jordan Cordell Suggs, 21, of Los Molinos, has been identified as one of the two parties who were seriously injured in a Wednesday morning traffic accident that killed two other people, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident happened at about 8:15 a.m. on Highway 36 E, just north of Tuscan Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by Ryan Marshall Cantrell, 26, of Red Bluff, was traveling southbound on the highway at a high rate of speed when it veered off the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
As a result of the collision, the Ford went airborne and struck a tree.
Jordan Suggs Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 36 E
Sadly, a 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman both from Los Molinos sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Suggs and Cantrell sustained major injuries and were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for treatment. Suggs was the front seat passenger.
Cantrell was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and released to the hospital.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
