Jonathan Ornelas and Keith Paul ID’d as 2 Injured in Modesto Car Crash at Claribel and Eleanor Roads
Modesto, California (May 9, 2019) – Authorities have identified Jonathan Manuel Perez Ornelas, 22, and Keith Paul, 62, as the two people who were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car accident in Modesto.
The crash was reported shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8 at the intersection of Claribel and Eleanor roads.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car allegedly ran a red light at the intersection and t-boned another vehicle. The two vehicles were described as a 2011 blue Chevrolet Cruze and a 2019 white Ford transit van.

After the impact, one vehicle went into a ditch and the other came to a rest in a field.
Ornelas and Paul were treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being transported to Doctors Medical Center for further treatment. Their current condition was not immediately reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
