John Stackhouse ID’d as Pilot Killed in Riverside County Plane Crash near Interstate 10 and Corn Springs Road

Riverside, California (November 27, 2019) – The pilot who died after his small plane crashed Monday night near Desert Center in Riverside County has been identified as John Brent Stackhouse, 67, of Canyon Lake, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau.
The deadly plane accident happened at about 5:40 p.m. Monday, November 25 near Interstate 10 and Corn Springs Road.
Authorities said Stackhouse was flying his classic Beechcraft Bonanza V35 when for an unknown reason, the single-engine plane crashed in the area.
Stackhouse, who was the sole occupant of the plane, was killed in the crash.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the accident.
