Jesus Gonzalez Identified as Man Killed in Fresno Car Crash on Friant Road near Willow Avenue

Fresno, California (June 28, 2020) – Jesus Gonzalez, 25, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon that also left at least three others injured in Fresno, authorities said.
At around 4:05 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash on Friant Road near Willow Avenue.
As per the CHP report, Gonzalez was driving northbound on Friant Road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his car, and swerved across the southbound lanes.
The car then skidded off the road and flipped over. Gonzalez, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car.

Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene.
At least two juveniles and one adult passenger in Gonzalez’s car were taken to Community Regional Medical Center in unknown conditions.
Rosalio Galindo Junior, 25, the other car driver, fled the scene and later returned. He was driving without a license.
Galindo was arrested and is now facing felony hit and run charges.
Drugs or alcohol were suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
