Rider Injured in San Diego County Motorcycle Accident at State Route 78 and State Route 79
San Diego County, California (June 28, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hit and injured by an SUV Sunday afternoon at an intersection near Julian in San Diego County, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 1:11 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 78 and State Route 79.
The California Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist was struck by a black GMC Yukon at the intersection for undetermined reasons.
The rider was ejected from the bile upon the impact.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist lying in the middle of a lane. The CHP said the rider sustained a broken foot in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
