Jerry Stanton Killed in Blythe Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Wiley’s Well Road
Blythe, California (September 17, 2020) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a car crash that occurred in Blythe, Riverside County, on Wednesday morning.
The fatal crash happened at about 5:20 a.m. September 16, on Interstate 10 Freeway near Wiley’s Well Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
24-year-old Jerry Stanton, of Phoenix, Arizona, was injured in the crash and was transported to Palo Verde Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
A second person suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Two children in the vehicle were unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
