Jeffrey Emerson ID’d as Man Killed in Huntington Beach Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Magnolia Street

Huntington Beach, California (January 4, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle late Thursday night in Huntington Beach has been identified as Jeffrey Emerson, 30, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
The crash occurred at around 11:10 p.m. January 2, on Pacific Coast Highway near Magnolia Street.
Police said Emerson was hit by a 2019 Dodge Durango driven by a 51-year-old Toronto, Canada driver.

The emergency crews performed CPR on Emerson but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The Huntington Beach Police Department is investigating the crash.
