Jarod Officer and Jane Matthews Injured in Petaluma Motorcycle Accident
2 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Petaluma Boulevard near Landing Way in Petaluma
Petaluma, California (June 16, 2020) – A man and a woman were injured in a motorcycle accident in Petaluma on Sunday evening.
The accident happened at about 5:15 p.m. June 14, on Petaluma Boulevard South near Landing Way.
53-year-old Jarod Officer, of Petaluma, and his passenger, 47-year-old Jane Matthews, of Oakland, were riding a motorcycle on the roadway behind a full-size Chevrolet truck.
The motorcycle is reported to have crashed into the truck that was allegedly making an illegal U-turn.
Man and Woman Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Santa Rosa
Officer and Matthews were injured in the accident and were transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The truck did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
