Santa Rosa, California (September 15, 2019) – A 36-year-old man driving a security vehicle was critically injured in a suspected DUI collision early Saturday morning in Santa Rosa, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
The incident happened at around 2:45 a.m. September 14, on North Dutton Avenue near Highway 12.
Police said a 25-year-old Santa Rosa man was allegedly operating a silver Honda sedan erratically when he collided with a white security vehicle driven by Jared Williamsen, 36, on North Dutton Avenue.
Jared Williamsen Seriously Injured in Santa Rosa Crash
Williamsen was trapped in the wreckage and had to be pulled out by the first responders. He was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Honda was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
