Jacob Lopez ID’d as Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 near Alabama Street in Redlands
Redlands, California (December 22, 2019) – The San Bernardino County has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Redlands as Jacob Lopez, 21, of Colton.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, December 18 on the Alabama Street onramp to westbound Interstate 10.
Authorities said Lopez was walking on Interstate 10 westbound when he was struck by a westbound tan 2013 GMC Sierra driven by a 59-year-old Redlands resident.
Man Killed in Redlands Pedestrian Crash Identified as Jacob Lopez
Lopez was declared dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol – San Bernardino is investigating the accident.
