52-Year-Old Man Killed in Irvine Pedestrian Crash at Silkberry and Hazelnut
Irvine, California (July 22, 2020) – A 52-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in Irvine, authorities said.
The fatal crash happened at about 6:30 p.m., on July 21, at the intersection of at Silkberry and Hazelnut.
According to the officials, the 52-year-old pedestrian was struck by an SUV at the intersection. It was not clear if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.

The 52-year-old man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The SUV’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
