Los Angeles, California (February 20, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along Washington Boulevard near San Pedro Street at about 4:41 a.m.
Multiple vehicles are reported to have collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The impact of the collision sent one of the vehicles into the Metro Blue Line tracks.
Crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident and extricated four people who were trapped in the wreckage.
The authorities said the victims sustained minor injuries in the accident.
