2 Seriously Injured in Indio Crash at Hoover Avenue and Monroe Street
Indio, California (January 4, 2019) – Two people were critically injured after a two-vehicle collision early Friday morning at an intersection in Indio, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 2:00 a.m. Friday at Hoover Avenue and Monroe Street.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
Firefighters responded to the scene and attended to the injured parties. One person was airlifted to a local hospital while another was transported to the hospital. The two victims suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident.
A power pole was reportedly damaged following the accident, and a repair crew from the Imperial Irrigation District was requested.
