Man Dies in Huntington Beach Bicycle Accident on Adams Avenue at Beach Boulevard
Huntington Beach, California (March 31, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Saturday morning in Huntington Beach.
According to a local news source, the incident happened at about 2 a.m. March 30, on Adams Avenue at Beach Boulevard.
A man was riding a bike in the east crosswalk when he was hit by a BMW traveling westbound on Adams Avenue. The BMW then slammed into a tree after the accident.
Bicyclist Killed in Huntington Beach Crash
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the BMW reportedly fled the scene on foot but he was later caught and arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
