37-Year-Old Richard H. Holguin Killed in Hollister Motorcycle Crash on Highway 25
Hollister, California (June 26, 2019) – 37-year-old Richard H. Holguin OF Hollister has been identified as the Motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision between Hollister and Gilroy Wednesday morning.
The deadly collision was reported at about 5:35 a.m. June 26, on Highway 25, also known as Bolsa Road.
The accident happened when a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck made a left turn in front of a 2001 Honda CBR600 ridden by Holguin from the southbound side of the highway. Holguin slammed into the back of the truck. The primary reports indicated that truck turned into the path of the motorcycle rider who was allegedly passing stopped vehicles in the right-turn lane. Due to the impact, Holguin was ejected from the bike. The driver of the truck was later identified as a 35-year-old Watsonville woman.

Holguin was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics as a result of the collision.
The cause of the fatal crash is still underway.
