Hollister, CA: CHP Investigating Hit-and-Run Collision on Highway 156

Hollister, California (July 5, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision that happened in Hollister Saturday afternoon.
Officials responded to the crash site shortly after 5:00 p.m., on July 3, along Highway 156(San Juan Hollister Road) near Union Road.
The accident involved two vehicles that crashed on the highway for undetermined reasons.

One person, whose name was not revealed, sustained unspecified injuries following the crash.
One of the involved motorists reportedly escaped the scene before authorities arrived.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the closure of a section of Highway 156 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
