Woman Killed in Cahuenga Pass Pedestrian Accident on 101 Freeway at Pilgrimage Bridge
Cahuenga Pass, California (July 5, 2021) – A woman died after being hit by two vehicles Monday morning in the Cahuenga Pass, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident happened shortly before 5:00 a.m. on the southbound side of the 101 Freeway at the Pilgrimage Bridge.
The woman reportedly got out of her gray Toyota sedan and was hit by a big rig. She was then hit by another vehicle.
The big rig did not stop and continued to travel.

The woman, believed to be approximately 30-year-old, was killed in the accident. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
At around 5:03 a.m., the California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert blocking all southbound lanes just north of the bridge.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
