One Person Injured in Hesperia Crash on 15 Freeway near Mariposa Road

Hesperia, California (March 14, 2021) – One person was injured in a Sunday morning traffic accident in Hesperia, authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 7:21 a.m. on 15 Freeway and Mariposa Road near Avenal Street.

According to the officials, a black Lexus sedan was headed northbound on the freeway when it lost control and rolled over for undetermined reasons.

The vehicle crashed through a chain-link perimeter fence before coming to a rest on its wheels along Mariposa Road.

One ground ambulance responded to the call and treated one person for a complaint of pain.

Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
