Herbert Hoover III ID’d as Man Killed in San Bernardino Go Kart Accident at W 48th Street and Cambridge Avenue

San Bernardino, California (March 22, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has identified the man who was killed Saturday night in a go-kart crash in San Bernardino as Herbert Hoover III, 25, of San Bernardino.
The deadly accident happened at around 11:37 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the intersection of W. 48th Street and Cambridge Avenue.
According to the authorities, a go-kart, operated by Hoover III, crashed into a parked vehicle at the San Bernardino intersection.
Deadly Go-Kart Accident in San Bernardino
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and took Hoover III to Community Hospital San Bernardino, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 12:31 a.m. Sunday, March 21.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation by the San Bernardino Police Department.
